My name is George Petras and these are recent samples of my work as a graphics editor, researcher, writer and artist at USA TODAY and Bloomberg. I research, create and edit graphics for both online and print publications and I work closely with reporters, analysts and editors to make sure graphics complement stories and analyses.
My primary goal in graphic production is to make sure any questions that may arise in readers’ minds are answered in the graphic itself. The best tools for that goal are clear and precise English and straightforward explanations.
